Chicken Avocado Ranch Grilled Burritos

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into chunks
  • 1 packet dry taco seasoning
  • 4 extra large fluffy flour tortillas
  • 2 ripe avocados, cut into chunks
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup bottled ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican Blend cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 8 strips cooked bacon, crumbled *optional
  • 4 tbsp salsa *optional, for garnish


  • Cut chicken breasts into bite-size strips or chunks
  • Heat 2 tbs olive oil in skillet
  • Season chicken with the dry taco seasoning, add to skillet and cook till done, about 4-5 minutes per side
  • Heat tortillas according to package instructions (I usually just place a stack with a damp paper towel on top in the microwave for 1 minute)
  • Working individually, coat each tortilla with a layer of sour cream and a layer of ranch (I am very generous and use a full container of sour cream for these)
  • Sprinkle cheese evenly over sour cream and ranch mix
  • Sprinkle cilantro and chopped avocado pieces on top
  • Add cooked chicken
  • Add crumbled bacon (optional)
  • Roll and fold tortilla, grill in skillet with olive oil on medium heat till lightly browned and crisp, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Serve with your favorite salsa on top
