Love roses, but can’t afford a bouquet every week? Or maybe you try to cut corners like me, when I lived in NYC I was a frequent flyer at the bodegas because, you gotta admit, the flowers looked so, so pretty out there on the street. But, just like with the grocery store flowers, they’re pretty when you get them home for like, an hour! Ugh. And I can’t afford the expensive kind that actually hang around for awhile. So what can you do? Wallpaper! If you live in an apartment and can’t wallpaper, consider this trick. Grab some samples of your favorite paper, and frame them. You can create a whole wall collage with the look and feel of a full wallpapered wall. If you’re lucky enough to have a wall you can actually paper, consider a self-stick mural or an entire floral room, voila! Roses without the roses, if you will. Enjoy!
