So, I’m going with our two other couple friends (we have a group of six known as the FTMFers but I can’t share what it stands for because it’s not tasteful lol) who we travel with and who are basically our family, to Washington DC in a few weeks. It’s going to be an adult field trip (who else went to DC on a train in 5th grade and ate at Scholl’s Cafeteria lol) and we’re going to see all the museums and history stuff. I’m totally psyched for the new African-American history museum and the National Air and Space museum (and the planetarium, who else schemed to sit next to their crush on planetarium field trips lol) but I have to say, as much as I love art, I’ll be sitting the National Portrait Gallery out. I love science and history museums but I kind of get so bored in art museums, isn’t that weird, because I’m actually a professional artist. But the upcoming trip inspired me to scout out some of the better gallery walls I’ve run across lately, enjoy and if you have any DC tips I’d love to hear them leave a comment below!
