I don’t know about you, but I love gift wrap!  I have a huge plastic box full of wrapping, and of course the holiday season is one of my faves.  As I’ve mentioned I’m not a big fan of red and green, and there are so many wonderful holidays this time of year to celebrate, so why not embrace them all?  I like things that are toned down and neutral, and I think that it’s totally okay to use this type of inspiration at holiday time too.  Reduce, reuse and recycle what you have with string, twine and ribbon, and one of my secret tricks is to decorate with raffia, it doesn’t get smushed down in gift bags and you can fluff it back up really easily.  Thick, rich kraft paper, luxurious chocolate velvet ribbon, springs of foraged greenery, it’s time to think outside the literal box when it comes to holiday wrapping!!
