You’ve been waiting, and we’re so happy to finally offer limited ecommerce WordPress shop design. Online shops are a huge business and can be complicated to build and run, so we’ve put together a simple and chic template including 5 full website pages, a fully functional online shop and optional blog add-in. This is a simple, turn-key e-commerce site, we reserve the right to decline any project that we feel is not suitable for this template.
Your site will be built on self-hosted WordPress using Woocommerce functionality, allowing you to sell tangible and digital goods to the U.S. and Canada. This is a customized template, to understand what you will be getting, please visit our demo site here. The theme will be customized to your design specifications (graphics, colors, photography etc.) and it will function exactly as pictured.

The site is fully automated and uses Woocommerce and Paypal to complete payment internationally and deliver the requisite measurement and inspiration forms so clients can express their interior styles and preferences. Site highlights include an extensive design portfolio showcasing the owner’s design technique as well as a lifestyle blog add-on.

We offer Paypal for off-site payment processing, and you will require a Paypal Business account (setup instructions here) to process your payments. This is the safest and easiest payment method.
Paypal charges a small transaction fee to you, not the customer.
Shipping is perhaps the most complicated part of e-commerce. You may choose from USPS, Fedex, UPS or use a flat shipping rate on your site. A UPS or Fedex account is required to provide shipping estimates to the customer (note these are estimates and real time shipping fees may vary slightly). Currently we only set up e-commerce shops within the U.S. and Canada and delivery is limited to the U.S. and Canada.
USPS: For a small, per label fee you may connect your site to enable automated USPS label printing through Woocommerce.
FedEx and UPS: For an additional fee of $69 each, you may add automated FedEx and UPS shipping label printing to your site.
You may also choose simply to calculate estimated shipping at checkout and print and ship on your own.
HOW IT WORKS
Upon receipt of your deposit, we will assign you a spot on our wait list. Please view current wait time before completing deposit. It generally takes 1 to 2 months to complete a site design.
Set up your domain registration (the address, eg. www.littlebluedeer.com) where your site will live, if you do not already own a domain, and hosting (hosting is the service that provides the space on the World Wide Web for your site to live). You need both a domain and hosting. Bluehost is our recommended domain and hosting provider. You may click these links directly to sign up. We are affiliates for Bluehost and by clicking the link above, we will receive a commission for any hosting package signup. We do recommend that your purchase site lock and site backup add-ons if available. Does it sound like we are speaking Greek? No problem, we are happy to assist with both of these for no additional cost.
3. DESIGN INSPIRATION
Fill out our site design inspiration form. This will give us all of the information that we will need to begin work on your site. You may also email us any additional thoughts or files or send a link to a Pinterest board.
You may expect a link to your live development site at the end of your assigned week. These times are approximate, we do not guarantee them, but this is generally our timetable. Then we will work together, communicating via email, to tweak and adjust your site to your specifications. We offer up to 3 rounds of revisions. Remember, the more clear and concise you are up front about what you are looking for, the more likely that the initial site will meet your expectations!
5. GO LIVE!
Once we are settled on the final site design and content , we will publish the site to your domain and you can tell all of your friends, furbabies, competitors, etc. because it will be live! We do reserve the right to charge a progress payment if your site takes longer than 1 to 2 months to complete. This payment will only be requested if the delay is on your end, which we completely understand, you’ve got a lot going on! This is not in addition to the design fee, it will just be a fraction of your final payment, generally 1/4.
At that point you will be immediately invoiced for the final payment.
Keep in mind that we are designers. Our site updates are limited to custom graphics created by Little Blue Deer. If you wish for other types of maintenance service, we will gladly include our preferred maintenance referrals. We will be happy to provide a zip file of your custom graphics free of charge.
