Fall, what?! Living here in South Florida, fall is nothing more than a state of mind! It’s still in the 90s here on the first day of fall, and the humidity is at a peak. It’s also the height of hurricane season (and my prayers here at LBD go out to Puerto Rico and all islands of the Caribbean who have been hit so hard by Irma and Maria – tragic, just tragic). I don’t miss living in Rhode Island in the winter trust me but boy do I miss my New England falls! So for now we have to just make do, we can’t start wearing boots and sweaters (we really never can anyway) but the promise of our gorgeous winters is right around the corner which for now is enough. If you’re lucky enough to live in a state where there’s all four seasons well, Happy Fall, ya’ll!
