Sometimes I get really tired of turquoise!  I see it all the time down here, living at the beach, turquoise and rattan, turquoise and teal, it’s all light and airy and pretty, but how do you get that beachy look without all the pastels?  The answer?  Delft blue and white (with a little gold thrown in).  Delft is an English or Dutch tin-glazed earthware, and it’s traditionally a deep shade of blue.  But paired with bright white, you get a really fresh, coastal look that’s a fab alternative to pastels and turquoise.  Enjoy these fabulous examples of decorating with delft!
