I don’t like anything that is way too over the top or obvious, for example I don’t love shells and “beach house” art in, an actual beach house lol. I just think it’s too in your face. We probably won’t make it to the beach this year, or maybe we will to Maine, but I’m guessing not, so not seeing the ocean for over six months has got me on the hunt for some coastal inspiration!
What I love about these rooms if they feel like the beach without being too much, you could incorporate a lot of these elements really into any room: the blue and white tones, the coastal ikat patterns, the plants and gallery art.
