I was just remarking to a friend that I’m afraid to go over to Albany, NY (our closest big town here in Vermont), which means no Homegoods, no TJ Maxx, no Christmas Tree Shops, ha ha I have to make do with what I have this year! So instead of feeling like I need to re-up my holiday decor this year, I’m trying to use what I already have, and make use of what’s available here naturally like leaves and greenery. Our house is neutral, so I’m feeling super inspired by these natural toned tablescapes I’ll be using for inspiration! You don’t necessarily need to have red and green placemats and tablecloths to make things look Christmas-y, a hint of gilt and glitter and a touch of winter’s natural beauty can bring festive to the front! I’ll be doing my best to imitate these gorgeous vignettes here, what about you? Did you buy all new this season, or stick close to home and use what you have?
