My apologies to Fifth Harmony, because we have totally been singing Work, Work, Work around here lately (get in the car and listen to the actual radio for less than 15 minutes and you will hear it trust me).  As a blog designer, I work from home (it has it’s pros and cons and isn’t all it’s cracked up to be though, more about that later) but damn do I love a good home/work space.  You see a lot of super minimal workspaces out there, and I see the thought process behind this:  a clean, spare work area leaves you feeling less stressed, there’s nothing to distract you, you can find everything you need easily.

While I’m all about organization on my Macbook (I have a totally obsessive file structure, any extraneous file is immediately trashed, it’s super neat in my virtual workspace).  But my preference for an actual workspace is something a little more boho.  There’s a design theory too that says you should surround yourself with things that inspire you, whether they match or not, and clever arrangement can keep these items from looking less junk-y.  So collect inspiration from Pinterest, Tumblr, other blogs, and use them to artfully arrange what you have and what you love.  And of course, a bunny chair never hurts (yes I know it’s from PB Teen but hey I’m a 13 year-old at heart!).

Are you looking for a custom blog design or custom website design?  Blog design is my specialty, and we still have some blog design spots open for May, so hop on over now and get on the list!  Let’s bring your vision to life and give you your own virtual workspace, totally customized to YOU!
