I’m loving these maximalist chic workspaces! It can be easy to just pile a bunch of junk in your home office and use it as a catch-all for books, magazines, etc., which ends up not being maximalist but just messy! These carefully curated spaces have a casual, lived-in feel but they aren’t junky or disorderly. Try things like an inspiration board for highlighting things you like and that inspire you, wicker or rattan baskets for holding odds and ends, and antique glass or apothecary jars for storing scissors, pens and other desktop ephemera. If people even use pens anymore ha ha!
