As someone who lives in rural Vermont, where people literally do chop wood and use wood and pellet stoves to heat their homes, stacked wood loses a little bit of its charm (ha ha not me though, we proudly have an electric fireplace, no fuss, no muss!). But then I see vignettes like this and I think, wouldn’t that be so cool. Stacked wood gives such a beautiful, organic vibe to a room, it’s a little impractical (wood mites, anyone?!) but it looks so pretty when it’s done right. I love how the stacked wood offsets the clean white walls so beautifully too!
