Happy Thanksgiving! I’m spending today taking care of my Dad – there’s a million things to do to help him so I just ordered in a Honeybaked Ham meal (I’m a Southern gal don’t forget, and not a big fan of turkey) and I plan to spend the day just enjoying his company (he will be enjoying the company of about a thousand football players via the TV – he’s a huge sports fan and that’s fine by me!). So my holiday won’t necessarily be as elegant as this this year, but luxurious tablescapes and sumptuous meals aside, I’ll be celebrating the true meaning of this holiday of love and gratitude with my favorite guy.
