Every year I start out the holiday season thinking I’m going to have saved up money for gifts, carefully, over each month, that I’m going to have all my decorating done and cards written, and it always ends up with me standing at the kitchen counter hastily scribbling cards and using American flag Forever stamps because I don’t have time to get to the post office for special holiday ones.
And the same goes for baking, I always plan to bake homemade gifts because I DO like to cook and bake, but once again, I always end up snatching up candles from TJ Maxx for last minute gifts because, who has time to bake?! I thought this year would be easier because you can’t go out and socialize like we always do at Christmas, but I’m just as stressed and busy as any other year, somehow while all the while staying in my house. What the heck?
