It’s that time of the year again, when the weather gets cold and thoughts turn to hygge and staying warm and toasty inside! I’m forever a fan of Scandinavian design (who isn’t)? I love that the Scandinavians generally use black and white as their basic color scheme and then warm things up with lots of raw wood and fluffy, cozy throws, plus candles and their unique decor touches. My favorite of all of these inspo shots is the church pew dining bench, who would have thought?! Love this idea, I love anything repurposed, and while church pews are not necessarily known for their comfort level, who wants their dinner guests to linger forever anyway ha ha?
