Not a lot of call for rustic wood here in SoFla, some things just don’t work down here. Like black walls and dark wood, it’s such a bright and sunny place, it just doesn’t quite fit. But I love me some distressed oud anyway! Pine planks, pumpkin pine, knotty wood, I’m down with it all (but I hate nature lol!). Since I don’t like grass or bugs, these rustic wood flourishes are a fab way to bring nature indoors (clarification: I don’t hate nature. I don’t wish ill for nature. I just prefer a good old dirty slab o’ concrete any old day!). But I really do like exposed beams and other reclaimed wood finishes, these are some of my recent faves!
