So, one of my favorite albums of all time is Random Access Memories by Daft Punk. OMG! The first time I heard it, I thought, this sounds like what you would hear in a dentist’s office circa 1974. And to me, that’s awesome. And this decor is like something you would, well, see in a dentist’s office circa 1965. Everyone loves the Mad Men era, myself included. If I could go back in time and choose any place, I would pick either Madison Avenue circa 1959 (if you’re wondering, I’m definitely more of a Peggy), or the Lower East Side circa 1980 (in which case I most likely would not be here living and breathing today). I had a fantastic childhood so I love anything 1970s, though my house is totally modern and I can’t shake the sense that vintage stuff is going to smell bad, but I get a huge kick out of these super retro shots.
