Puka Shells Redux

I’m a little too young to remember hippie dippie puka shell necklaces (I was born the year Nixon was impeached), so I came of age in the rip roaring 80s when, apparently, they did not even know that cocaine was addictive, I guess we were all blissfully ignorant in our legwarmers and Esprit gear, right?! So even though I missed the puka trend, I’m still loving these natural and organic touches. I do NOT wear anything but super plain gold jewelry, but just like with interior design, I feel like a cool shell or feather necklace is a really nice touch for a conservative outfit, just like these tropical and organic coastal accents can really perk up a blah or traditional room. Inexpensive and easy to give a try!
