Still back to my beloved black walls, I swear I’m going to get one someday but when you live in New England, you really have to do all you can to brighten things up, I took down the heavy dark curtains (sure I’m going to have to put them up next winter because curtains are very important to insulate windows and keep warmth inside) and replaced them with sheer whites, I painted all the dark wood furniture a distressed white wash, and added 100 watt lightbulbs to all of my lamps. But I still love the dark though, this is probably it for these deep, dark interiors this year, so enjoy!
