When I design a logo, I usually attach a little moodboard to it, just so the client can get an idea of how their logo will look in different placements, and with different colors, etc. Moodboards are one of my favorite things to make, I make mine in Photoshop, but you can use Canva (click link for a great tutorial), Picmonkey, etc. for fun and custom moodboards if you’re so inclined. I’m especially partial to mixed media moodboards, Calico Corners used to be a client of mine and one time they invited me to their corporate offices, and ya’ll they have a whole room of gorgeous, real-life moodboards where they photograph their different fabrics! This was really before instagram was a thing, but I so wish I had taken some pictures, it was the coolest thing ever.
