In honor of Hanukkah, I’m posting my mom’s famous noodle kugel recipe. My stepdad has been in our lives since I was 10 or so, so we always celebrated Hanukkah and Passover with him, and my mom, who is a tremendous chef, mastered all of the traditional holiday dishes, so while it was not necessarily a religious celebration for us, it was definitely a cultural (not to mention delicious!) one. I would never dare try to master her latkes, but this noodle kugel dish is one I think I can definitely pull off, and I think I’m going to add it to my November and December holiday menu! I hope you enjoy it and absolutely if you have any ideas or tips on your own kugel (or any holiday!) dishes feel free to leave a comment!
