Happy Thanksgiving! It’s one of my favorite holidays of the year, because it’s filled with food and gratitude (seriously, who doesn’t like food and gratitude?!). We’re doing dinner out this year with some good friends which is easy and nice and stress-free. And honestly, I’m pretty filled with gratitude daily. I try to live a somewhat spiritual life and one of the main tenets of that is gratitude, like, sometimes I even make a gratitude list (albeit more often mentally than physically). It’s a really good way to live, and I have so much to be thankful for. My adult life has had many twists and turns, and I always come back to gratitude. I have a wonderful husband, my extended family is cool and healthy, I have Little Blue Deer which has been around for almost 10 years and actually manages to support me, beautiful home in gorgeous Ft. Lauderdale, and really good friends that I see almost every day and who are also like family to me. And two Siamese cats (my level of gratitude varies there lol!). But I’ve had some really rough times too, I lost my first husband when I was 38 and have had some other tough times like everyone, but even during those times I managed to maintain a level of basic gratitude and acceptance, and for that I am probably most grateful of all!
I wish everyone a wonderful holiday, and I am so grateful for all you readers and clients, you deserve the best!
