I’m not super big on statuary, mainly because well, you don’t see a lot of it at Homegoods and such, but I’m thinking I need to think outside the box (or bust, if you will) because I am dying over these amazing statuary tableaus. Statuary and busts really do add an artistic element of timelessness to your decor, I have a few oversized garden architectural elements scattered around, but they’re kind of impersonal compared to these. I’d love to know the story as to why busts have no arms, or hands, and how that tradition evolved, so if you’re an art history major, shout out! In the meantime just enjoy this gorgeous inspiration!
