I don’t know about you, but all of this unrest in the world is making me crave simple tradition and comfort. I post a lot of modern and abstract interior design, and I’ve always felt that modern design is easier to pull off, but there’s something so cozy and comforting about these traditional rooms. Sometimes all it takes is one statement piece: an armoire, bar cart or chest, and since these are readily available at thrift and antique stores, there are likely plenty of unique options out there. And then designing around it, I especially love the green paint in this living room and bathroom and the tiny accents like the black-shaded lamp and renovated porcelain tile flooring. Simple and traditional is a great way to wrap up winter!
