I always tend to default to black in winter, if I buy boots or shoes, I’m going to buy black because I feel like it will go with more stuff, and I have probably 20 black sweaters and 35 black pants lol. I do like bright colors in winter too, to warm up those dull gray days, but I tend to overlook one of the best color families for winter, chocolate brown. Brown comes in many shades, and it can be just as flattering and warm as reds and oranges. A soft camel cashmere, tan leather pumps, rugged brown suede boots, there’s so many options that are just as neutral and go-with-anything as black and white, here are some of my faves!
