I love dark grays and charcoals, but monochrome for a room is just too much. I’ve always like charcoal gray paired with a bright fuchsia, fluorescent yellow or turquoise, but burgundy or aubergine are fantastic picks too, particularly for the winter. Switch things up with throw pillows or accent photos, even just one or two pops of color suffice.
