It’s always been my secret dream to have some super fancy birdcages scattered about, I think they’re so cool! I read that Taylor Swift actually has a life-size birdcage (for people!) in her Nashville home. Knowing that it’s Taylor I’m sure it’s nothing but tasteful and lovely, love that lady! I’m not much for birds themselves (plus, uh, the cats) but I love the chinoserie feel of ornate birdcages, and all the ephemera that goes with.
