I’m back at it on the OOTD posts! Politics aside – I guess the pantsuit got political this year! – I’m a big fan of the idea of a one-piece anything. I love dresses, I think I’m too old for rompers (and I just can’t bring myself to walk into a shop and be like, “uhhhh, where are your rompers?”) but the pantsuit/jumpsuit is my thing! Even though I work from home, I go out every night (not like, out, out, but to dinner, to meet friends, community events, etc.) so I like something that can take me easily from day to evening (yes I’m that busy). I got this jumpsuit at Ross Dress for Less, if you can survive the lines and pick through the junk there are some real steals. I love this because it’s sleek and comfortable, you can dress it down with flats or sneakers, and the legs are long enough that it goes great with heels. I paired it with my green and navy necklace (if I can I’ll bring green and navy into any outfit, I’m preppy like that) and a little CK alligator clutch. While of course anything from Ross is going to be a one-off, I’m sharing some similar options below. Trust me, this is a summer staple that is guaranteed to look effortless and elegant day or night.
